About Vita Jaspan, M.D.
I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and a general cardiologist caring for patients across a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arrhythmias, and heart failure. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while partnering with patients to develop individualized treatment plans in a collaborative environment.
Vita Jaspan is originally from Great Neck, New York. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She then attended the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and remained at NYU for her residency training in internal medicine. She subsequently completed her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. In addition to her outpatient cardiology practice, Dr. Jaspan reads echocardiograms and provides inpatient care on the cardiac stepdown unit and cardiology consult service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
